The genuine Elsema PentaFOB Waterproof remote is an IP66-rated 433MHz keyring transmitter designed for automatic gates, doors, access control and wireless automation.  Its sealed, durable housing makes it particularly suitable for outdoor, coastal, agricultural, commercial and other wet or dusty environments. 

Every button press sends an encrypted signal across five different frequencies using Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum technology.  This provides reliable, interference-resistant communication with compatible Elsema Penta PCR433 receivers. 

Choose from a 1-button small, 1 button large, 2-button, 4-button or 5-button model to suit the number of gates, doors or other functions you need to operate.

Is the Elsema PentaFOB Waterproof Remote fully waterproof?

The remote has an IP66-rated enclosure that protects it against dust and powerful water jets. It is suitable for rain, wet hands and dusty environments, but it should not be deliberately submerged in water.

Which model should I choose?

Choose the model with enough buttons for the number of functions you need to control. The range includes FOB43301WP, FOB43301LWP, FOB43302WP, FOB43304WP and FOB43305WP.

Will this remote work with every Elsema gate motor?

It will work with an Elsema gate motor or automation system fitted with a compatible Penta PCR433 receiver. It will not communicate directly with older FMT, KEY, Gigalink or Multicode receivers.

Can it replace my standard PentaFOB remote?

Yes. Standard and waterproof PentaFOB remotes can be programmed to the same compatible PCR433 receiver. You do not need to replace your existing standard PentaFOB remotes.

What battery does it use?

The remote uses one CR2032 3-volt coin battery. A battery is supplied and pre-installed. Elsema estimates approximately two years of battery life with average use.

How far will the remote operate?

The operating range is up to approximately 100 metres. Buildings, metal structures, electrical interference and receiver antenna placement can reduce the actual range.

How do I program the remote?

The remote can normally be programmed directly into the PCR433 receiver. Remote-to-remote programming may also be available, depending on how the receiver has been configured. Instructions are supplied with your order.
