The Elsema PentaFOB Handheld Remote is a rugged, IP66-rated industrial transmitter designed for reliable wireless control in demanding environments. Available in 2, 4 and 8-button configurations, it is suitable for operating gates, industrial doors, machinery and multiple automation functions from one handheld remote.

Each remote uses encrypted Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum technology, transmitting across five frequencies for reliable, interference-resistant operation. With an operating range of up to 400 metres, raised tactile buttons, a protective rubber boot and included lanyard, the PentaFOB Handheld series is ideal for trucking, agriculture, warehousing, mining and industrial automation.

What is the difference between the FOB43302H, FOB43304H and FOB43308H?

The remotes use the same heavy-duty housing and PentaFOB transmission technology. The FOB43302H has two buttons, the FOB43304H has four buttons and the FOB43308H has eight buttons.

Is the Elsema PentaFOB Handheld Remote waterproof?

The remote has an IP66-rated enclosure, protecting it against dust and powerful water jets. It is suitable for wet and dusty workplaces but should not be deliberately submerged.

Are batteries supplied?

No. The handheld remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included.

How far will the remote operate?

The remote can operate from up to approximately 400 metres. Actual performance depends on buildings, metal structures, electrical interference and the position and quality of the receiver antenna.

Which receivers are compatible?

The handheld PentaFOB remotes are compatible with Elsema PCR433 Penta series receivers. They are not directly compatible with Gigalink, Multicode, FMT or KEY receivers.

Can the remote operate more than one machine or door?

Yes. Each button can be assigned to a particular receiver channel. Depending on the installation, separate buttons may control different gates, doors, machines or relay functions.

Can multiple buttons be pressed simultaneously?

Yes. The handheld PentaFOB series supports simultaneous transmission, making it suitable for applications where combined functions need to operate together.

Can all eight buttons be programmed at once?

When used with the PCR43308R eight-channel receiver, multi-channel programming can assign all eight remote buttons to their corresponding receiver channels in one process. Individual buttons can also be programmed separately.

Can the buttons be used while wearing gloves?

Yes. The large, raised tactile buttons are designed to be easier to identify and operate while wearing work gloves.

Does it replace the previous Elsema handheld remote?

The new PentaFOB handheld range replaces the earlier design while retaining compatibility with Elsema PCR433 Penta receivers.
