The Elsema PentaFOB programmer is a professional management tool for adding, identifying, editing and deleting individual remote controls from compatible Elsema Penta receiver systems.
It is particularly useful for apartment complexes, gated communities, commercial properties, storage facilities and other sites managing a large number of remote users. If a remote is lost, stolen or no longer autorised, the programmer allows the individual remote to be removed without deleting and reprogramming every other remote in the receiver.
The programer connects directly to a compatible Elsema receiver using the supplied cable. It automatically detects the connected receiver and displays the available functions on its large, backlit four-line LCD screen.
The included FOBchip can be used to backup the receiver's remote control memory. If the receiver is later damaged or replaced, the saved remote database can be restored without collecting and programming every remote again.

How does the programmer connect to the receiver?
Connection is established via a dedicated micro-USB cable provided with the programmer. One end plugs into the back of the programmer, and the other connects to the programming port on the receiver. The programmer automatically detects the receiver model and displays its details on the LCD.
How does the password protection feature work?
The programmer allows you to set a 10-Character password on the receiver. Once locked, the receivers memory cannot be altered or deleted by unauthorised persons. This even disables the manual code reset pins on the receiver - providing a high level of security in commercial and industrial sites.
