MCT91508 – Elsema Multicode 915MHz 8 Button Remote
The Elsema MCT91508 is a genuine 8-button industrial remote control transmitter designed for Elsema's 915MHz Multicode system. With eight individually controlled channels, it is ideal for applications requiring multiple remote functions from a single handheld transmitter.
Using Elsema's Fast Frequency Hopping (FFH) technology, the MCT91508 is designed to provide reliable wireless control in industrial and commercial environments where interference may be present. Each button can operate a different Multicode receiver or individual channel of a multi-channel receiver.
The MCT91508 supports both 12-way DIP switch coding and Elsema's encrypted Multicode programming, making it suitable for everything from existing Multicode installations to higher-security industrial control systems.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What makes the MCT91508 different to standard remotes
The MCT series utilises Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology, a sophisticated method typically reserved for military and medical equipment. This allows a transmitter to jump between different frequencies within the 915MHz band, providing immunity against interference or intentional, jamming from other electronic devices.
Does the MCT91508 series require an external antenna?
No, The MCT91508 is designed with an internal antenna integrated directly into the handhold remote. This streamlined design makes the remote more portable and reduces the risk of mechanical damage or breakage that can occur with external protruding antennas.
How does the Multicode digital coding work?
MCT stands for Multicode Technology which offers dual coding options:
- 12-way DIP Switch
- Encrypted Coding
Can I use multiple transmitters in the same area?
Yes, with the use of the Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum technology, multiple transmitters can operate simultaneously in the same vicinity without interfering with or jamming each others signals.
What is the typical operation range of the MCT91508
Due to the efficient internal antenna design, the MCT91508 offers a reliable operating range of up to 400 metres (line of sight). This makes it suitable for most large-scale industrial and commercial environments.
Is it possible to press more than one button at a time?
Yes, The MCT series supports simultaneous channel transmission. This means if you press multiple buttons at once, the transmitter will send signals for all corresponding channels, switching multiple outputs simultaneously.
