Elsema PCTR433 Penta Repeater and Signal Booster

The Elsema PCTR433 is a genuine Penta remote repeater designed to extend the operating range of compatible PentaFOB and PentaCODE remote controls.   It receives the remotes transmission and retransmits it at higher power, helping the signal travel across longer distances or through areas affected by buildings, obstacles and interferences.

With the potential operating range of up to 500 metres in suitable conditions, the PCTR433 is ideal for large residential properties, commercial premises, industrial sites, farms, access-control installations where the normal remote range is insufficient.  Multiple repeaters can be installed in series using different locations, allowing covered to be extended across large or challenging sites.

The flexible power options allow the repeater to be powered using a micro USB connection or a 12-24V AC/DC power supply.  The repeater is supplied with a Micro antenna whilst compatible external antennas can be used where additional performance is required.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What does the Elsema PCTR433 repeater do?

The PCTR433 receives a compatible PentaFOB® or PentaCODE® remote signal and retransmits it at higher power. This can improve remote operation across longer distances or in locations affected by buildings and other obstacles.

Will the PCTR433 work with every Elsema remote?

No. It is designed for Elsema PentaFOB and PentaCODE 433MHz remotes. It is not intended for Elsema Gigalink, Multicode or older FMT remote systems.

Does the repeater give every remote a 500-metre range?

Not necessarily. Up to 500 metres may be possible in suitable conditions, but actual range depends on the antenna, mounting position, terrain, buildings and radio interference.

Can multiple PCTR433 repeaters be used together?

Yes. Multiple repeaters can be assigned different addresses and installed in series to extend coverage across larger properties or challenging sites.

Does the PCTR433 need to learn every remote?

Yes. The repeater stores compatible remote codes and offers unlimited remote capacity. Stored remote information can also be backed up using an Elsema PentaFOB programmer.

How is the PCTR433 powered?

It can be powered through its micro-USB connection (not included) or connected to a 12–24V AC/DC power supply.

Where should the repeater be installed?

Install it where it can reliably receive the original remote transmission and retransmit it toward the receiver. Mounting it high and away from metal structures, electrical equipment and other sources of interference generally provides better performance.
