The Merlin E950M was a widely used remote in the Merlin+ 2.0 Series, valued for its reliability and secure rolling-code technology. This model has since been discontinued following updated Australian lithium coin battery safety regulations, however Merlin introduced an improved replacement remote featuring an upgraded casing and compliant battery safety design. Users with compatible Merlin+ 2.0 systems can continue operation using the newer model as a direct replacement.
