The Merlin 4000 Upgrade Kit is the ideal solution for restoring remote access to older Merlin 4000 garage door openers where original remotes are no longer reliable, unavailable, or the built-in receiver has failed.

Rather than replacing the entire garage door opener, this upgrade kit allows you to modernise your existing system with a new external receiver and remote control system, providing reliable operation and the ability to add new remotes whenever required.

This upgrade kit uses the LEXO Automation 400 Capacity Universal Receiver with Lexo Automation Compatible Remotes, delivering a dependable and cost-effective remote replacement solution for older Merlin garage door openers.

Wiring Instructions:

This kit comes with pre-programmed 4-button remotes.  The remotes will come programmed to button 1 unless requested otherwise.  Full instructions will be supplied with your order for wiring into your opener. 

This kit is supplied for DIY installation. You will need to connect the wires to the corresponding terminal points on your motor. Please note, access to these terminals may require working at height (e.g. using a ladder), so ensure appropriate safety precautions are taken.
