Grifco GPS15 Monitored Safety Beam Kit – Reflective

The Grifco GPS15 Monitored Safety Beam Kit is designed to provide additional entrapment protection for compatible Grifco commercial door operators.

Unlike a standard safety beam, the GPS15 is a monitored safety device. The Grifco control system continually checks the status of the safety beam, helping ensure a fault, damaged sensor or interruption to the beam is detected rather than allowing the door to continue operating unsafely.

The GPS15 uses a reflective beam system, meaning only one powered safety beam is required. An infrared beam is projected across the doorway to a reflector mounted on the opposite side. If a person, vehicle or other obstruction breaks the beam while the door is closing, the Grifco operator can stop the closing movement to help reduce the risk of contact, injury or property damage.
