The Grifco E945G remote, was one of Grifco's longest-running and most recognisable remote designs. It was discontinued when new Australian lithium coin battery safety laws came into effect, as the E945G casing did not meet updated compliance standards. Its retirement led to Grifco's development of a modern replacement E960G
