Elsema Penta PCR433WG Wiegand Receiver

The Elsema PCR433WG Wiegand Receiver provides a simple way to integrate wireless PentaCODE remotes with an existing commercial access control system.  Its Wigant output connects to virtually any compatible access control panels, allowing remote controls to be enrolled in much the same way as wiegant cards or RFID tags - typically without requiring software modifications.

Compatible with Elsema PentaCODE PCK43302 and PCK43304 remotes, the PCR44WG delivers an operating range of up to 200 metres line of sight.  Each remote can be configured with customised ID and facility codes to suit the requirements of connected access control systems.  Additional remote buttons may also be assigned to secondary functions such as auxillary input or panic alert button.

Important: The PCR433WG provides a Wiegand data output and does not directly switch a gate or door motor. It must be connected to a compatible access control panel.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What does the Elsema PCR433WG do?

The PCR433WG receives a signal from an Elsema PentaCODE remote and converts it into 26-bit Wiegand data. The connected access-control panel can then identify the remote in a similar way to an RFID card or proximity tag.

Can the PCR433WG control a gate motor directly?

No. The PCR433WG has a Wiegand data output rather than a relay output. It must be connected to a compatible access-control panel, which then controls the gate, door or boom gate.

Which remotes work with the PCR433WG?

It is designed for Elsema PentaCODE PCK-series remotes, including compatible two-button and four-button models. It does not work with PentaFOB remotes.

How are remotes added to the system?

Place the access-control panel into its credential-enrolment mode and press the required button on the PentaCODE remote instead of presenting a card or RFID tag. The exact process will depend on the connected access-control system.

How many remotes can be used?

The PCR433WG does not store the users itself. The number of remotes that can be enrolled is determined by the capacity of the connected access-control panel.

Does every remote have an individual user code?

Yes. Each remote can be configured with a unique serial or user code, allowing individual users to be identified in the access-control system.

What is the operating range?

The stated range is up to 200 metres line of sight. Buildings, metal structures, electrical interference and antenna placement can reduce the achievable range.

Can different remote buttons perform different functions?

Yes. Each button sends a different code and may be enrolled separately, depending on the capabilities of the access-control panel. Additional buttons may be used for another entrance, an auxiliary function or a panic input.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the remote pre-programmed or does it require setup before use?

Most remotes require programming to your opener before use. This process allows the remote to communicate securely with your specific garage or gate system.

If the product is listed as “compatible” rather than “genuine”, it will still need to be coded in the same way as your original remote.

Programming instructions are included with your order, and additional guides can be found on our
