Elsema KEY-301 Remote
Elsema KEY-301 Remote
Discontinued Item
The Elsema KEY-301 was a compact, single-button keyring remote used with older Australian gate, garage-door and access-control systems. It operates on the 27.145MHz frequency and uses 12 internal coding switches.
The KEY-301 was commonly used as a smaller alternative to compatible large-format FMT transmitters. The genuine Elsema KEY-301 has now been discontinued. This listing is provided for remote identification and compatibility information only.
Is there a direct replacement for the Elsema KEY-301?
Elsema PentaCODE remote is not a direct replacement for the KEY-301. Although PentaCODE remotes also contain coding switches, they operate on a different frequency and cannot communicate directly with the original 27MHz receiver.
Copying the switch pattern from a KEY-301 into a PentaCODE remote will not make it work with the original KEY-301 receiver.
What should I do next?
- Confirm that the model printed on your remote is KEY-301.
