Elsema G5000 4G GSM Input/Output Controller

The Elsema G5000 is a 4G GSM Input/Output Controller designed for remote control and monitoring of electrical equipment using the Australian 4G mobile network.

Unlike the G4000, which is primarily designed for phone-based gate and access control, the G5000 provides 4 independent relay outputs, 2 digital inputs and 2 analogue 4–20mA inputs, making it ideal for industrial, commercial and agricultural automation applications.

Control relay outputs remotely using SMS commands or monitor connected sensors and equipment from virtually anywhere with compatible 4G mobile coverage.

With support for up to 250 authorised users, the G5000 is well suited to applications including pumps, irrigation systems, tank monitoring, lighting, alarms, HVAC equipment, gates and other remotely controlled electrical systems.

For installations requiring up to 2,000 users or more advanced automation functions, consider the Elsema G5000+.

What’s Included:

  • 1 x Genuine Elsema G5000
  • Antenna
  • 12V DC Power Pack
  • Installation Instructions

Key Features:

  • 4G Remote Control & Monitoring: operate and monitor connected equipment from anywhere compatible Telstra, Optus or Vodafone 4G/VoLTE coverage is available.
  • 4 Independent Relay Outputs: Four voltage-free relay outputs rated up to 10A at 240VAC, allowing multiple devices or functions to be controlled from one G5000.
  • 2 Digital Inputs: Connect voltage-free sensors, switches, alarms or other equipment to remotely monitor their status.
  • 2 Analogue 4-20mA Inputs: Connect compatible analogue sensors for applications such as tank levels, pressure, temperature or other industrial measurements.
  • SMS Control: Individual relay outputs can be activated remotely using SMS commands.
  • Remote monitoring and alerts: use the inputs to monitor equipment and receive information remotely via the mobile network.
  • Up to 250 Users
  • Windows Desktop Configuration: configure and manage the G5000 using Elsema's windows desktop app via bluetooth.

Ideal Applications:

  • Pump Control: Remotely start or stop pumps and monitor associated sensors or switches.
  • Irrigation Systems: Control irrigation equipment remotely without requiring someone to physically attend the site.
  • Tank & Water Level Monitoring: Connect compatible 4–20mA sensors to monitor tank levels and other analogue measurements.
  • Sports Field & Facility Lighting: Remotely control lighting circuits using the G5000's four independent relay outputs.
  • Agricultural Automation:  Control pumps, irrigation, lighting and other equipment across farms and remote properties.
  • Industrial Equipment: Remotely control equipment while using the digital and analogue inputs to monitor system conditions.
  • Alarm & Security Systems: Monitor alarm outputs or sensors and remotely operate connected equipment.
  • HVAC & Building Services: Control and monitor suitable heating, ventilation and other building equipment.
  • Automatic Gates & Access Equipment: The voltage-free relay outputs can also interface with compatible automatic gate, door and access-control equipment where remote SMS control is required.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the G5000 4G GSM controller used for?

It is an SMS controlled input output controller with four relay outputs and sensor monitoring that suits lighting, pumps, irrigation, HVAC and general automation across industrial, commercial and agricultural sites.

How many outputs and inputs does the G5000 have?

It provides four relay outputs, plus two digital inputs and two analog inputs that read 4-20 milliamp sensors for real-time status via SMS.

What is the relay rating on the G5000 outputs?

Each relay is rated up to 10 amps at 240 volts AC, which covers common loads for lighting, pumps, and contractor control.

Which mobile networks are supported?

It works on Telstra, Optus and Vodafone with 4G and VoLTE compatibility, so it operates anywhere there is 4G coverage.

How many users can be configured?

G5000 supports up to 250 users, while G5000+ supports up to 2000 users for larger deployment and multi-site control.

What is the difference between G5000 and G5000+

G5000 focuses on SMS relay control and input alerts while G5000+ adds machine to machine automation and customisable alerts for advanced workflows.

How is the setup performed?

Setup is done with a desktop app that simplifies configuration and phone number management, while daily operation is handled by SMS commands.

What power supply is included?

A 12-Volt DC power pack is included, which simplifies installation and commissioning on site.

What are typical applications for G5000?

Common uses include sporting field lighting, sewer pump stations, tank level and irrigation control, HVAC control and remote monitoring of sensors.
