The Elsema FMT 304 is a large box remote transmitter operating on 27MHz fixed-code technology with 10 internal dip switches. Unlike the later FMT302DA model, the FMT 304 uses a different coding format and is not cross-compatible with 12-switch systems. This remote was commonly installed in setups where multiple motors were positioned side by side, or where long-range and reliable industrial gate access was required.
Is there a direct replacement for the Elsema FMT-304?
Elsema PentaCODE remote is not a direct replacement for the FMT-304. Although PentaCODE remotes also contain coding switches, they operate on a different frequency and cannot communicate directly with the original 27MHz receiver.

- Confirm that the model printed on your remote is FMT-304.
