The Merlin E1702M Key Operated Manual Release (also called Key Operated Manual Release Lock) is a reliable emergency key lock that lets you safely and securely disengage your garage door opener from outside in case your remote fails, the power dies, or you’re locked out. Ideal for homes where there’s no side or rear access door, this key lock ensures you’re never left stranded.
Designed by Merlin (Chamberlain Group), the E1702M is compact, durable, and easy to install. When activated with its included key, it uncouples the opener’s drive mechanism via its attached cable, allowing you to manually open or close the door.

Wholesale customers are charged a flat rate of $14.95 for all orders, with tracking provided once despatched.
