Boss Openers are no longer in business and no genuine new remotes or replacement parts are available, making compatible solutions essential for continued use.  Early Boss motors were manufacturerd with one of three internal receivers, and because they all look identical from the outside, identifying the correct remote can be challenging without opening the unit.    This remote is a high-quality replacement for the HT1 SteelLine or Boss Garage Door Remote.  It operates on a 303MHz Billion Code system and is a realible modern altermative to the discontinued HT1 remotes.
