Programming Remote to Remote

To program a new ATA PTX4 remote using an existing genuine precoded remote, follow these steps:

Prepare Your Existing Remote:  Ensure you have a genuine precoded ATA PTX4 remote with a hidden button.  Stand close to the garage door or gate motor.

Activate the Function on the Coded Remote: Press and hold the button on the existing remote that you want to copy until the door or gate activates, then release the button.

Initiate Coding on the Existing Remote: Using a small needle or paper clip, press through the Coding Hole on the existing remote and hold firmly for two seconds. The LED light will illuminate.

Program the New Remote:

• Within 10 seconds, pick up the new remote you wish to program.
• Press and hold the button you want to use on the new remote for two seconds.
• Pause for two seconds, then press the same button again for two seconds. The button should now be coded.

Confirm Programming:  Wait for 10 seconds, then press the newly programmed button on the new remote to confirm it operates the door or gate.

Deleting All Stored Transmitter Codes

To delete all stored transmitter codes from the receiver, follow these steps:

Turn Off Power: Switch off the power to the opener.

Initiate Deletion: Press and hold down the “DOOR CODE” or SW1 button.

Power On and Delete: Turn the power back on while continuing to hold the “DOOR CODE” or SW1 button. The coding LED will illuminate, indicating that the receiver’s memory has been deleted.

Complete Deletion: Release the button. All stored codes, including courtesy light codes, are now deleted.

Confirm Deletion: Test by pressing the previously used transmitter buttons. There should be no response.
