How to Program the SteelLine ZT07 & DM01 Remote

Need to program a Steel-Line ZT07 or DM01 garage door remote? The programming process depends on the Steel-Line garage door opener installed at your property.

The instructions below cover programming the ZT07 and DM01 remotes to compatible Steel-Line SD800, SD1200, RD800 and RD1200 garage door openers.

Before you start: Check the model of your garage door opener. The programming procedure for the SD800/SD1200 overhead door openers is different from the RD800/RD1200 roller door openers.

Programming to the Overhead - SD800 or SD1200

The SD800 and SD1200 use the +, P and – programming buttons and numbered LED display located on the garage door opener.

Programming to the Roller Door - RD800/ RD1200

The RD800 and RD1200 roller door openers use a dedicated LEARN button, so the programming procedure is different from the SD800 and SD1200.
