How to Program a LEXO Automation PR4 or PR7 Remote

Programming a new LEXO Automation PR4 or PR7 remote is a simple process, but the steps are slightly different depending on whether you have a roller garage door, overhead garage door, sliding gate or swing gate opener.

This guide will help you identify the correct programming method for your LEXO Automation opener.

The PR4 and PR7 use the same programming process. You can also choose which button on your new remote you would like to operate your garage door or gate.

Before Programming Your New Remote

Check the battery saver switch first.

The LEXO PR4 and PR7 remotes have a small battery saver/child-lock switch located on the side of the remote.

Before attempting to program or operate the remote, make sure this switch is turned ON.

If the switch is off, pressing the remote buttons will not transmit a signal and the remote will not program to your opener.

Important: Programming is completed at the garage door or gate opener. You will need access to the motor or control board and your new PR4 or PR7 remote.

On the LEXO Cobble overhead opener, the control panel and RF Learn button can be found underneath the light cover.

Programming to a LEXO Automation Sliding or Swing Gate Opener

Open the gate motor's control box and locate the main control board.

Note:  LEXO Automation Overhead motors and gates automatically allocate position one on each remote.  If you would like to activate a different button on your remote control you will need to change the default position within the parameters of the control board.  You will need to follow the control panels/motor manual.
