How to Program the Elsema PentaCODE Remote

The Elsema PentaCODE remote can be programmed using either 12-way dipswitch coding or encrypted coding, depending on how your Penta receiver has been set up.

This guide covers both programming methods for the Elsema PCK43302 2-button and PCK43304 4-button PentaCODE remotes.

Before you start: Open the battery cover of your remote and check the position of the 12 dipswitches. This will help determine which programming method your system is using.

12- Way Dip Switch Coding

Use these instructions if your PentaCODE remote and receiver are programmed using the 12-way dipswitches.

For a single gate or garage door, the dipswitch positions inside your PentaCODE remote need to match the dipswitch settings on the Penta receiver.

If your remote operates more than one device — for example, a gate on one button and a garage door on another — the setup is slightly different. Follow the multi-button instructions below.

Encrypted Coding

Use these instructions if your PentaCODE system has been set up using Elsema's encrypted coding rather than the 12-way dipswitch code.

Before programming, check that all 12 dipswitches inside the PentaCODE remote and the Penta receiver are in the OFF position. You can then program the PentaCODE remote using the receiver
