How to Program the Elsema Gigalink Remotes
Elsema Gigalink remotes can be programmed in several different ways depending on how your system is set up. The correct programming method will depend on whether you are adding another remote to an existing receiver, programming a new or cleared receiver, or setting up individual remote buttons to operate different receiver channels or multiple receivers.
This guide covers the most common Elsema Gigalink programming methods, from simply adding an additional remote through to more advanced single and multi-channel programming.
Before You Start
You will normally need:
- your Elsema Gigalink remote
- access to the Gigalink receiver
- a Gigalink programming/coding cable
- power connected to the receiver
Programming Additional Remotes into an Existing Receiver
This section is for when you have a working Gigalink system and simply want to add another remote. Do not short the CC pins during this process unless you would like to clear all remotes from the receiver.

Shorting the CC pins - Clearing the Memory
This section is to be completed when first programming a remote to a receiver or when a clearing of the receiver is required. Then follow the normal programming procedure or below advanced programming to program in your first remote.
