How to Program a Stoddart Garage Remote

Learn how to program your Stoddart garage door remote to a single motor or multiple motors using the control panel on your opener.

How to Program a Stoddart Remote to One Motor

This will program an individual button to a motor.  If you have two motors that you would like to pair into the one remote use the next instructions (Dual Motors)

Step 1:  Press the Red (Learn) Button Once, LCD screen will activate "bu"

Step 2: Press and Hold Button on Handset, Light on motor flashes.

 

How to Program a Stoddart Remote to Two or More Motors

This is perfect if you have two or more compatible motors that you would like to program into the one remote. Ie - Left Hand Motor (Button 1), Right Hand Motor (Button 2)

Step 1:  Press the Red (Learn) Button Once, LCD screen will activate "bu"

Step 2: Press the Blue (-) Button Once, LCD screen will activate "ru"

Step 3: Press and Hold Button on Handset, Light on motor flashes.

Step 4:  Repeat the above process on the next motor, choosing a different button position for your remote for each motor. 

 

How to Delete Stoddart Remotes from Motor Memory

Warning: This will clear all remotes including Wall buttons from your motor. 

Step 1:  Press the Red (Learn) Button Once, LCD screen will activate "bu"

Step 2: Press and Hold the Green (Confirm) Button for approx 10 seconds, Light on motor flashes.
