How to Program the Multicode 3060 Aftermarket Remote

This remote is defaulted to Multicode but can be used for DigiCode receivers in a reverse order.

First step is to determine whether you have a Multicode or Digicode receiver within your opener.

  1. Remove the inspection panel to reveal the switch settings.

Note:  Multicode receivers were more commonly used than Digicode in Australia.

PROGRAMMING TO A MULTICODE RECEIVER

1. On your Receiver or Remote you will have a 10 dipswitches.  Duplicate this sequence exactly as shown.

UP = ON, DOWN = OFF

 

PROGRAMMING TO A DIGICODE RECEIVER

On your Receiver or Remote you will have a 10 dipswitches.  Use the below table to help you determine the orientation.

In Row 2 write the orientation on your receiver.   U = Up, D = Down

Ie – U D, D ,D ,U , U…….

In Row 3 write the opposite direction

Ie – D, U, U, U, D, D…….

This is the sequence to put into your new remote.
