The newer Ditec Entrematic Zen 2 & 4 remotes do not have the hidden button found on the Ditec Gol4 and BIC remotes.  If you only have Zen2 or Zen 4, you will need to follow the instructions to program via receiver.

Program using an existing coded remote (older versions only)

You will need to be positioned near your receiver.

1. Activate the opener with an already coded remote control
2. With a sharp pointed object (paper clip or pin), press the hidden button on the old remote for 5 seconds.
3. Once LED illuminates release the hidden button.
4. Press a button on the new Zen 2 or 4.
5. Wait 10 seconds for system to reset.

Program direct to receiver (older models)

1. Open the casing of your receiver
2. On the receiver, press the programming button (PRG)
3. When the receiver led illuminates release the button
4. Press a button on the new Zen 2 or 4.
5. Receiver will blink and then remain lit

Program direct to receiver (LCD Screen – newer models)

You can directly access the remote control storage menu even with the display turned off, but only with the display visualization option set to 00 or 03:

• To program new remotes
• To program new buttons/channels on an existing remote.

On the receiver you have 4 buttons – Up/Down/Ok/ESC.  Above these buttons is a screen that will register the mode.

1. Receiver – Press Enter to activate the menu.
2. Receiver – Scroll up or down to select RO in menu
3. Receiver – Press Enter
4. New Remote – Press a button on the new Zen 2 or 4
5. Receiver – Press Ok

Continue this process for each remote or channel you wish to program.   Once Finished press Esc on receiver.

Troubleshooting:  If you are having difficulties programming a remote to your opener it is recommended that you revise the specific manual for your model of motor.
