Programming Instructions for the Elsema FOB43304WP – 4 Button Waterproof Remote

PentaFOB® Programming Instructions

There are two methods to program the PentaFOB® remotes and receivers:

1. Remote to Receiver
2. Remote to Remote

Remote to Receiver Programming:

1. Ensure that all switches on the receiver’s 12-way dip switch are set to “OFF.”
2. Press and hold the program button on the receiver.
3. While holding the program button, press the button on the remote for 2 seconds. The receiver’s LED will flash and then turn green, indicating a successful pairing.
4. Release both the program button on the receiver and the button on the remote.
5. Test the connection by pressing the remote button to check the receiver’s output.

Remote to Remote Programming (Ensure you are near the receiver for this process):

1. Open the case of a remote that is already programmed and locate the program button on the back of the board. Press and release this button to put the receiver into learning mode.
2. Press the button on the already programmed remote to activate the receiver.
3. Press the button on the new remote that needs to be programmed and hold it for 2 seconds.
4. Press the program button again on the already programmed remote to exit the receiver’s learning mode.
5. Test the newly programmed remote by pressing its button to verify the receiver’s output.

Deleting the Receiver’s Memory:

1. Locate the Code Reset pins on the receiver.
2. Short the pins for 10 seconds. This will delete all remotes from the receiver’s memory.

PentaFOB® Programmer:

The PentaFOB® Programmer allows you to add or delete specific remotes from the receiver’s memory. This feature is particularly useful if a remote is lost, or if you need to prevent unauthorized access, such as when a tenant vacates a property.

PentaFOB® Backup Chips:

These chips are used to backup or restore the contents of the receiver’s memory. This is especially important when there are hundreds of remotes programmed, allowing the installer to safeguard the receiver’s data in case it gets damaged.
