Programming Instructions for the Elsema PCK43304W Transmitter

12-Way Dip Switch Coding

  1. Set the Receiver’s Code: On the receiver, set a random code by adjusting the 12-way dip switches to “On” or “Off.”

Important: Do not use the default factory setting as it is a common code used by others.

  2. Open the Transmitter: Remove the cover of the PentaCODE® transmitter.
  3. Match the Dip Switches: Set the transmitter’s 12-way dip switch to match the receiver’s 12-way dip switch.
  4. Activate Channel 1: Activate channel 1 on the transmitter. The receiver’s output should respond, and the LED on the receiver will light up to confirm successful activation.
  5. Programming Channels 2, 3, and 4: To program channels 2, 3, or 4 on the transmitter to different receivers:
    • Change dip switches 11 and 12 on each receiver according to the following table:
    ReceiverDip Switch 11Dip Switch 12
    1OffOff
    2OnOff
    3OffOn
    4OnOn

Note: Dip switches 1 to 10 should be identical across all transmitters and receivers.

Encrypted Coding (All 12-Way Dip Switches must be “Off”)

1. Receiver to Transmitter Programming
  1. Press and hold program button 1 on the receiver.
  2. Activate channel 1 of the transmitter for 2 seconds. The receiver’s LED will flash green.
  3. Deactivate channel 1 on the transmitter and release the receiver’s program button.
  4. The LED on the transmitter will flash to confirm successful coding.
2. Transmitter to Receiver / Transmitter to Transmitter Programming
  • Broadcast the Transmitter’s Code:
    1. Ensure all 12 dip switches on the transmitter are “Off.”
    2. Activate channel 1, then toggle dip switch 12 to “On” and then back to “Off.”
    3. The LED will remain on for 10 seconds to confirm the transmitter is broadcasting its code.
  • Broadcast the Receiver’s Code:
    1. Ensure all 12 dip switches on the receiver are “Off.”
    2. Toggle dip switch 12 to “On” and then back to “Off.”
    3. The green LED will stay on for 10 seconds to confirm the receiver is broadcasting its code.
  • Programming the Second Unit:
    1. While the code is broadcasting, activate channel 1 on the second transmitter or receiver for 1 second, then release the input.
    2. The LED will flash twice to confirm successful programming.
    3. Broadcasting will stop automatically after 10 seconds or when any dip switch is turned on.

Deleting Receiver’s Memory

  1. Locate the CC pin on the receiver.
  2. Short the pin for 10 seconds. This will delete all programmed transmitters from the receiver’s memory.
