Changing Battery in the New Style AJAX

Prepare the Tools : You’ll need a small Philips-head screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver (or a butter knife).

Remove the Screw

• Locate the small Philips screw at the back of the remote.
• Unscrew carefully and set aside in a safe place.

Open the Remote

• Find the small inlet at the bottom of the remote casing.
• Gently insert your flathead screwdriver or butter knife into the inlet and carefully pry the back casing away from the front.
  (Avoid using excessive force to prevent damaging the remote.)

Replace the Battery

• Identify the battery inside: 12V 27A Alkaline battery.
• Remove the old battery and insert the new battery, ensuring it aligns correctly with the polarity markings (+ and -).

Reassemble the Remote: Carefully realign and snap the back casing onto the remote front until you hear it click securely into place.

Replace the Screw: Reinsert and tighten the small Philips screw securely.
