• Choose a location for the Merlin E8003 receiver that provides easy access to the terminal connections.

Secure the Receiver:

• Attach the receiver securely to your chosen surface using the provided hook and loop fasteners.

Programming Instructions for Merlin E8003 Receiver

Program a Single-Button Remote Control

• Press and release the Learn button for the desired channel (CH1, CH2, or CH3) on the receiver.
• The corresponding LED will light up steadily for 30 seconds, indicating the receiver is ready to program.
• Within the 30-second window, press and hold the button on the remote control that you want to program.
• Release the remote button when the LED on the receiver blinks and then turns off. This confirms that the programming is complete.

Program a 3-Button Remote Control for Open, Close, and Stop Functions

• Press and release the CH1 Learn button on the receiver.
• Within 30 seconds, press the button on the remote that you want to designate as the OPEN button.
• Press and release the CH2 Learn button on the receiver.
• Within 30 seconds, press the button on the remote that you want to designate as the CLOSE button.
• Press and release the CH3 Learn button on the receiver.
• Within 30 seconds, press the button on the remote that you want to designate as the STOP button.

Note: If you do not press a remote button within the 30-second programming window, the LED next to the Learn button will turn off, indicating that the receiver has exited Learn mode. Simply repeat the steps to complete the programming.
