The DEA LINEAR/B Photocell is an intelligent, wireless safety solution designed to make gate automation both secure and simple—no trenching or conduit required. This kit includes a pair of wall-mounted infrared safety beams with 180° horizontally adjustable optics making alignment easy even on uneven or angled surfaces.

The transmitter is powered by a long-life 3.6V C-size lithium battery, offering up to 7 years of reliable operation. With a 15-metre range, the LINEAR/B is ideal for both residential and commercial sliding or swing gate installations.

Built with practicality in mind, the transmitter features an integrated motion sensor that activates the beam only at the start of each gate movement. This conserves battery life while maintaining essential safety coverage. When the gate is stationary, the system remains active and can still detect obstacles—with minimal delayed response.

If an object interrupts the beam, the receiver immediately sends a signal to the gate control board to stop or reverse operation, helping to protect vehicles, people, and property.
