Since 2019, Australia’s mobile network operators have been transitioning to focus on 4G and 5G networks, leading to the shutdown of 3G services. As of now, all telecommunication providers in Australia have discontinued their 3G networks. This change impacts the Elsema GSM2000, which is no longer supported due to the 3G network shutdown. Additionally, the Elsema GSM2025 is affected by the discontinuation of non-VoLTE 4G devices. As a result, the GSM2025 can now only operate using text-to-command functionality.
