What should I do if my remote stops working?

If your remote stops working, try replacing the battery first. If the problem persists, refer to the troubleshooting section in the coding instructions or contact customer support for assistance.

Coding via Working Remote

Note: Only 1 & 2 Button NICE FOr-s remotes can be copied using this method.

1. Position yourself within 3 meters of your installation.
2. Press and hold a button on your new remote control for 5 seconds.
3. Take your existing, already-coded remote and slowly press the same button 3 times, allowing 1 second between each press, and holding each press for about 1 second.
4. Press the same button on your new remote control and release it.
5. Wait for 10 seconds. Your new remote control is now coded.

Coding via the Receiver

1. Locate your receiver, typically found near the motors, and open its casing.
2. On the receiver’s circuit board, press and hold the coding button until the receiver’s LED lights up, then release the button.
3. Press a button on your new remote control and release it. The receiver’s LED should turn off.
4. Wait for one second, then press the same button on your new remote control again and release it.
5. The receiver’s LED will flash 3 times, indicating that the coding process is complete.
6. Wait for 10 seconds. Your new remote control is now coded.
